Different Decking Materials
At Priority Marine Construction, we have a wide array of different materials for you to choose from. Our knowledgeable professionals can help you make the perfect decision for your home. Our custom decks come in several different wood finishes, including:
- Pressure-treated lumber, which is our most popular brand due to its versatility and cost-efficiency.
- Hardwood, which is known for its durability and resistance to termites.
- Softwood, which is naturally resistant to many different Florida insects and conditions.
- Exotic wood, one of our most resilient wood finishes.
We also offer many different types of composite decking. Composite sundecks are known for their low maintenance and their ability not to rot or warp. Some of our composite materials include:
- Trex, which is made from recycled matter and resembles real wood but does not splinter.
- Timbertech, which is similar to Trex but is highly durable and has more variety and options.
- Azek, which is actually neither wood nor composite, has all the benefits of Trex and Timbertech.
- Tropical Decking by Subelt Forest Productions
Whichever high-quality material you choose for your backyard paradise, you can rest assured Priority Marine will get the job done right. We are members of the Florida Marine Contractors Association and engage in extensive consumer research. Additionally, our team is constantly updated on the newest information about making custom decks the best they can be. This means we will make your Dunedin home stand out thanks to our knowledge about different decking materials and techniques.
Cellular PVC Decking
At Priority Marine Construction, you can expect the highest quality technology, materials, and service. Included in this is our cellular PVC decking. Some of the reasons people are attracted to these types of custom decks are:
- There are no wood fibers, so mildew and mold will not be a problem.
- Maintaining its beauty is easy as ever; a quick rinse with soap and water makes this surface look brand new.
- It is stain-resistant to both natural disasters and man-made accidents. From Clearwater storm damage to food stains, this substance is tough. It also defends against any scratches.
- Its color is long-lasting and will not fade. It looks, sounds, and feels like real wood, without the danger and hassle real wood can often bring about.
If this material sounds appealing to you, give us a call, and we can get to work on your beautiful new addition.
