A solid, attractive deck is the one aesthetic that really pulls a house together, greatly increases your home’s value, and provides open-aired, natural tranquility. However, deck construction in Tampa Bay is a competitive industry; many businesses believe that they should be the ones to build your newest addition, from the small one-two-person services to the large brand name construction services. But if you are looking for a Tampa Bay Deck construction service, settle on Priority Marine Construction. Priority Marine Construction is a construction company that understands not only the time and effort that goes into making a deck look appealing but how to protect and preserve your new addition. Water and weather are the two things that can quickly warp, break down, and decay your deck, and Priority Marine Construction has been working around both long enough to know how to defend against them thoroughly. One of the ways Priority Marine Construction puts their money where their mouth is is with the materials they use in their
Deck Construction:
- Stainless Steel Screws – Priority Marine Construction uses only Stainless Steel Screws when constructing your deck in Tampa Bay. Weather is always a factor in Florida, especially in the Tampa Bay area. Priority Marine Construction understands this and only uses materials proven to resist the effects of harsh weather.
- 5/8” hot-dipped galvanized bolts – Tough means sturdy. This is why in all Tampa Bay deck construction, Priority Marine Construction only uses galvanized bolts to hold your new deck together. When Hurricane Season comes around, and that palm tree in your front yard is now down the street, you’ll be thankful Priority Marine Construction used the galvanized bolts.
- Trex – Another way Priority Marine Construction’s Tampa Bay deck constructions are safe and secure is with the actual material used to build the deck, as wood isn’t always the best option. Trex is a composite made from other recycled material, which doesn’t allow for splintering, warp, or rot, unlike wood. Trex has many characteristics that make it low-maintenance but still aesthetically pleasing. First, Trex does not require any painting, staining, or sanding. The material is fabricated so that it is resistant to all kinds of weather. Second, Trex naturally lightens over time. You will be able to achieve that weathered look in as little as a few months. Last, Trex is easy to clean and maintain; all you need is some hot water, soap, and a brush!
- Azek– One of the more popular materials, Azek, is neither wood nor a composite material like Trex. So what makes it different? Azek is like the Superman of deck materials; it is nearly resistant to everything. Scratches, stains, splits, mold, and mildew bounce off Azek, decking as bullets bounce off the Man of Steel’s chest. Along with guaranteed longevity and imperviousness to insects (termites, ants, wasps, etc.), your Azek deck construction in Tampa Bay also comes with a limited lifetime warranty. I don’t think that you’ll be sacrificing aesthetic appeal for protection, though, because Azek comes in a multitude of different, attractive colors. From Redland Rose to Slate Gray, Azek is the best material to finish off your Tampa Bay Deck construction dream.
A solid deck is a perfect gateway from your house to Tampa Bay. It provides the most scenic place for grilling, get-togethers, or just relaxing. Tampa Bay deck construction is highly competitive, however, and we understand there are many choices for you. However, you have to ask yourself who you would trust most: a local company that has been in the area for years and understands your needs and wants, or some big commercial service that sees you as another dollar sign?
